| With your Chocobo stabled you can now feed him special fruits that will change the color of his plumage. These fruits are:
Cieldalaes Pineapple / Doman Plum / Han Lemon / Mamook Pear / O'Ghomoro Berries / Valfruit / Xelphatol Apple. The colors that the feathers change to are exactly what you'd see when dying your gear. The fun part is mixing up the fruit to see what color you get. Challenge accepted!Please be aware that once you feed your Chocobo it will take 6 (Earth time) hours for his plumage to change colors so DO NOT retrieve him prematurely or the coloring process will cancel and you'll have to start over. It's wise to feed him right before signing off for the day or if you don't plan on using him for a while. If you haven't been keeping an eye on the clock to know how much time is left before color changing has finished you can easily find out by inspecting the Chocobo stable. If you see the regular options list pop up then he is not ready. If you see a small cutscene then you know the time has arrived to gaze upon your newly colored Chocobo.Below is a link to a spreadsheet to help inform you on what fruits do what to a Chocobo's plumage.
